looking at toe or toe and caster guages for my cars. Any one have experience with Longacre tools, smart racing products or pole postition

You can get the same digital leveling unit as the SmartCamber uses at Amazon for $85. It's called a SmartTool:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...l/-/B0000225AL/ On a 5 lug Fuch, you can take the center cap off and put the gauge right on the wheel. Or, one could easily attach the gauge to a straight piece of aluminum if you wanted to measure from rim edge to rim edge. Or buy the SmartCamber for $200 if you want a fancy $115 bracket. You can easily measure toe with two thumb tacks, two plumb weights and a tape measure. One of the measuring tools may make it easier though. |
