Well, a hearty congratulations to our SMOG and 914club members Gary (BS Charman) Stellmach who took 2nd place in Restoration-Touring 914/6 class; Brad Shisler who won 1st place in 914 Preservation Class and Jack Vasina who took 1st place in 914 Full Concours and the 914 Group Division at the 2005 Hershey Porsche Parade.
A HAT TRICK! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) Despite the 95+ degree heat during car prep and at the concours, both gents held up quite well. Cant say as much for us spectators though. I'm very proud of both of you. Cant wait to see how you both do with the cognoscenti judges at the 2005 Mid West Class on August 6 in Whitmore Lake, Michigan. Attached thumbnail(s)

Yes, these are the thoroughbreds. You wont believe the number of other historic race cars they rolled out for this 50th anniv event.
Here's the 914/6 Restoration-Touring winner trucked in from Nevada (Gary drove his 2nd place car the 500 miles from Michigan). And we made very good time!! I'm partial to adriatic blue (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) Attached thumbnail(s)
