I have a Conrad Johnson MV50 on the office system...
http://www.conradjohnson.com/It_just_sound...ght/a-mv50.html and an Audio Research VS55 on my primary system.... http://www.audioresearch.com/VS55.html I've also got a 'side-company' that we sell tube photos at. http://www.firebottles.com/ I had a tube Pre-Amp for a while. I always like tubes in my system somewhere, but I feel you are better off having the'hiss' at the amp level, rather than amplifying the hiss from the pre-amp. I've got a ST70 somewhere...I think for an Audiophile, it's a right of passage. I'm on AudioGon every morning. I buy lots of stuff on there...mostly 'tweak' stuff lately though... |
