Wow great course, tons of teeners and a perfect course for us. Nathan and Trekkor were 2nd and 3rd. Nathan was on the cords of his Hoosiers. Damn that was quick Nathan. No more burn outs for you!!! Trekkor has really improved his driving. Much smoother and he is starting to get fast!
Albert and I were battling it out with out 1.8s and he had a new set of Hoosiers. He won our class (BX) by less than half a second. Thanks to Randal. Had my first instructor ride along since I started this silly sport and he taught me alot. Nathan and Trekkor were in low 52 second range. I was about 2 seconds off the pace. Think there were at least 4 914's in top 10. |

Only one word to describe that car, i.e. "Perfect." And still fast as stink and talk about handling. That car is about as much fun as you can have, a complete package. My son, Loren, will never forget his first ride in the orange machine on the back streets of Reno. I just wish we could get Pat Costin down to a few GGR or LPR events to show the people down here. As to Dwight, I've never met him, but he is one of those people that can show up and secure TTOD in any competitive car. That's why it is so great to have people like Terry Z. still out still driving with us. Terry hasn't missed a PARADE in like 20 years. The thing I enjoy most is talking with him about the best lines around any course. And he is the first guy to sit down after an event, over a beer and replay the days events. In my view real drivers always share, because they want to their compeition to know everything about any course and still beat them fair and square. |
