While cruising a hot rod mag i saw these guages and thought, hey that would be cool.

Then i got to thinking, and thougth, hey that would be even cooler behind my brake warning light lense or with a tinted piece of plastic in front of it so you only see it when its on. You could set it up to show Cyl. temp and oil temp all within the little widow of the combi guage.

They do plain oil temp, cyl head temp, volts and this one which is a combi guage that can show different engine functions. From what i read it can monitor several functions and switch from one to the next if temps go out of range or whatever.

I saw a picture of the unit out of the housing, and its square, and that made me think of rigging up a square unit that would fit in the ashtray hole area. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif)
