Saw the thread about the PP 911 board's anual DIY awards, and though, why don't we have our own? How about if the moderators decide on some categories, and then we can nominate people/projects and vote on them each year. Winner of each category could have a thread created featuring their project. These special project threads could all be placed in a special bbs category for award winners (similar to the "classic thread" category). What does the management think?

I like the categories.....

just so you know...the bearings are not my original design, I've just changed a few things and reduced the cost....any idiot can do that (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

another category:

most monumental task (such as replacing suspension console) or doing repair work when the car should have clearly been scrapped (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

most miles put on the car without owner having to repair/tweak car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
