Okay, I know y'all've (I spent 3 years in the south...that's a word (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) ) heard me complain about the 4-cylinder engine, dropping it and installing it. What a beyatch! So to those who've had the pleasure of working with the 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder versions, which is easier to drop/install? That's amazing!! What is keep that car from rolling forward! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) As far as which is easier? Which ever one was not in my car (which incidentally I just got out today, and rolled around back for a "make-over"). Both friggin' motor mount bolts heads snapped off, mount "fused" to the bolts by rust....heated, beat, cussed, beat some more, cussed alot more, tried to knock up with an air-hammer, "F" NO, didn't budge!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) ...etc, ended up completely drilling out both motor mount bolts.......took friggin' 4 hours just for the bolts! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) .....other than that, went pretty smooth. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) |
