We need new network switches for our office.
The new office is wired with Cat6. I already have a few PCs with 10/100/1000 ethernet ports. I am looking to buy three 24-port managed switches with 10/100/1000 connectivity. We have about 50 PCs in the office that access two SCO Unix servers and one Linux Server , but we will be going away from the servers and the PCs will be accessing more and more web-based content via our T1 connections. What do I look for in managed 10/100/1000 switches? What are the minimum specs I am looking for to ensure fast data transfer when all 50 PCs are running? I need something rack mountable that can be linked together. You know me... speed reader. The rest of the rules appeared off screen and I never bothered to scroll down. Actually, I had read them once initially, before the Addendum. When I checked yesterday, I saw the top part was the same, so I thought it was okay... Sorry. Okay... so how about this... >>I am looking to wire my Porsche 914 with a local ethernet.
