found this in someones ad in the classifieds

"Very rare early 73 that had vinyl trim around the windwhield frame."

I dont think that is correct.... was there ever such a thing????

My car has it too.
I was going to take it off when I had it painted but because it is
so rare I left it on.
I made some chrome strips out of the old strips from the bottom of the side
panel trim. (thanks to Brad for that tip).
