Anybody have any tips for brightening up the white plastic parts on our cars? (tail light lens knobs, targa roof holders, washer bottles) I've tried straight bleach to get the yellow out but had no luck. Not sure what to try that won't melt the pieces in the process.

You can try white RIT Dye. I used to have some bare nylon parts what were off white, and dyed them white wirth RIT dye from The drug store. It came out really well.
