I'm getting as bad as Mueller possibly, but I think a wild set of pipes would be individual pipes right out the side like a top fuel dragster. They would sure throw some flame since most race engines run pretty rich! I searched and Googled and all but never found a picture of any?

Yup,
And they will run pretty good in about a 1000 RPM range..... The pipe length is tuned for one rpm band in a dragster because you just basically rev it up into the high torque range and pop the clutch..... Not a whole lotta accelerator pedal action needed other than push it down flat for drag racing... Ken |
