The voltmeter gauge in my car just pegs on max as soon as the ignition is switched on. It even does this without the engine running. In the past it would work momentarily and then peg again and stay that way for weeks or months. Now it stays there all the time. I have never had a charging problem and was wondering what everyones opinion of where the malfuction is. Faulty gauge?
