Hi everyone! I have a tube frame 914 that I'm putting a 993 3.6 in and a G50 trans to go with it. I have read lots of old threads on NOT flipping the G50 for use in a 914 but was hoping for some advice.
I understand that flipping the diff is just too hard and have heard that to flip the entire trans requires cutting bell housings off etc. My question is, why can I not simply fill the old holes, build up the case a bit, and drill new holes? They only need to move 1/4". Jim |
