Kids do indeed love to cruise in a 914. The vibrations and soft roar of the engine will put them to sleep in a hurry. My 32 year old daughter still goes to sleep in my car after about 20 minutes on the highway.
I have installed and extra seat belt on the passenger side just for a car seat, and have modified a car seat bottom to fit on the stock 914 seat. It's a lap type belt found in the center of most 1/2 ton trucks. Works great, but not till they can sit facing forward. |
