a guy from truckee(?). was working on a ladder running a drill. the ladder collapsed and he dropped his drill and it landed bit end up. he fell on a 18"x 1 1/8" auger bit. into his eye and between his skull and brain (yikes). 4 hours to remove the bit. lost his eye but no brain damage at all. he talked like it was no big deal.

I love how the media writes a story to make it better..." a hunting arrow" makes it sound more dangerous.
If it was a "hunting arrow" instead of a regular field point arrow he wouldn't be alive. Think this would have missed a major artery while spinning into his head @ 250 ft per sec? Not!! Attached image(s) ![]() |
