On the OE front struts how do you tell whether they are the Boge or the Bilstine?
I seemed to recal that one used a coarse thread cap and the the other a fine thread, but not to sure about that? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Is there a part # stamped somewhere? If so what are the part #'s? |

Brad, while on the subject of struts.......I have original Boge struts on my six project. There are some NOS Boge inserts advertised on Club classifieds at a very good price. Says they fit 4 or 6. PET is not real clear but seems to show different struts but same inserts for both cars. Pelican Parts says use 911 insert for the 6. I have no desire to install expensive performance shocks if I don't have to. What do you say?
