(IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) Hi all
I was reading a VW magazine and want to know are the disk brakes on 914 the same as later VW? The ones I was looking at are drilled for newer wheels. Also what other VW parts will fit on my 71 914. I will be working my 914 this winter and will be replacing things on it. I just sent my daughter off to college in Boston so I am now on a VW budget not a Porsche one. Is there a list I could get to help me on this question. Thanks all Tony |

The ignition switch is a Bug piece, the plastic portion behind the metal key/lock cylinder. These do fail occasionally. Twice on my car. The car would crank in the "start" key position but shutoff when the key returned to the "ignition-on" position. Took me a while to figure it out the first time it happened.
