What tire size should I go for on my 16x6" fuchs?
I'm thinking either 205/55/16 or 205/50/16 would be good...any input would be great. Also, any suggestions on good tires...should I go all out w/ some S-03's or go cheaper w/ some Yoko's or Kumho's? Thanks again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

I was running 205/55/16's on my first 914 with 16x7 Phonedials, but I didn't like the gearing (same OD as a 225/50/16 that I had on the rear with 8's)
My next 914 had 7's (Phonedials again) on all four corners and I ran 205/50/16 Kuhmo 712's. I currently have the 712's (225/45/17's) on my Volvo S70 T5 and I have taken this car to ThunderHill and they held up very well for such a heavy car. My 911 C2 (wrecked) has 712's as well (much wider)...the rear passanger tire blew out and I still don't know if I'll replace the <5000mile tires with anouther brand or not, if I do get all new tires, the S-03's will be my new choice.
