I saw the sun this morning so that must mean that spring his here!
I would like to get some of the hearty puget sound 914 owners to come over to Bremerton Family Pancake House and then for a drive like last year... If it is THAT nice of a day (like alsat year) we could even drive out to Dawato bay on Hood Canal... great twisties and scenery can not be beat! Here is what is on the calender for me: Feb 5 Superbowl out of town (not going to the game) Feb 18 PCA Autocross practice (we could show up enmass and just freak the wine and cheeze folks!) March 10-12 Race driver school and Seattle enduro at Pacific Raceway. So lets start thinking about a day. I would suggest something in Gig Harbor as a sencondary local, but Dave might not want all of us blasting around his nieghborhood, that is his favorite pastime! I am really disapointed I can't make breakfast Saturday. I've got a booth at the old car swap meet in Puyallup that day. Been driving my car a lot lately, had the top off 4 days this week. The beauty of a 914 is that you can adjust the side windows so that you get almost no cabin turbulence and the heat from the footwells just washes right over you. Outside temp doesn't matter. Now if only I could rig a periscope so I can see over traffic.
Hope we can have another breakfast or something real soon. Looking forward to meeting some teener folk. Have fun. Marc (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif) |
