I want a tall closer to 2nd, 1st gear.
How do you like it? Is it easy to get rolling from a stand still? I'm getting very used to starting in 2nd, so anything has to be better. The "C" gear is 10 mph faster than a stock "A" @7k rpm's and the "D" is 14 (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool_shades.gif) KT |

With a stock box, it's out of the question to downshift back into first. Crunnnnch! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) I run an "F" main, BTW. With the tall first, I beleive I would have the ability to trip the start lights at a higher speed and actually be able to go back into 1st if a really tight was encountered. They are out there now and then. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) What I do now, is just fight my way through the tight stuff in 2nd in the low rpm band and then get back on the gas ASAP. I would rather be at 5-7k rpm through the entire course. This could be the secret weapon I've been searching for.
