Just dropping a hello and brief intro... even tho things got "ugly", I believe there's a definite bonus to now know that each site exists!

I have a 74 X... live in the Dayton, OH area. If anybody's local, feel free to hook up some time! I like both cars, never owned the 914 but some guys in school did.

Have been toying my X since Oct 04, fun car, still working out bugs. Don't have the a lot of free time due to work etc, so taking a little longer. Drug it out of a very wet garage where the PO just let it sit for 5+ years.

I appreciate the feedback I got from a couple of you over in the X posting! 914Brutus I believe... thanks!

Ciao!

HA!!! Butt-end of the car is up on jack stands right now and spent most of the winter with all 4 wheels never touching the ground!! I just don't like to take pic's that way.... lolll

I don't know off hand, but if you go back to the X1-9 Forum, over to the top right should see a link for the X-Registry. You can see who's registered, pic's of cars and where located. I've not done that yet... I know, shame.. but there are many in there.. and/or post an Invite over there!

BTW.. that's a Porsche red!! will be repainted eventually. but several owners back changed it over. Has a bit more orange to it in person tho...
