has anyone removed this seal with the windshield in the car...besides Aaron?

this is coming up for me also, going to get the thing painted, with the glass out of it and figured this would be the time to replace that seal, $80 something bucks at pelican. The dash needs repaired too, but there is only so much money I can toss down the hole right now.
