Can you believe this. My car is finally ready and the main road between my house and Willow Springs is closed due to snow!!!! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif)
An alternate route is to take Hwy 138 from I-5 to Hwy 14. Has anyone ever gone this way? Does it stay below 1500 feet in elevation? |

I live up here (Palmdale) and have been that route many times. 138 comes out at I-5 at the top of the grapevine. It's all downhill from there (actually kinda flat) but regardless I would expect snow in that area as well. If not now, later for the return trip.
