Sorry - I misinterpreted "a car like this" as referring to the final finished product. As to the purchase price of the donor, suffice to say I paid over market value for a very nice '74 2.0. I'll gladly defer to other experts who buy and sell teeners more often than me, but to my mind a car like this should go for around $6-7K tops (in CA anyway). What do you think I should have paid for it? The beauty of it was that it was local to Renegade (no shipping cost) and I will be able to recoup some $$ for the original 2.0 engine, Gotti wheels and center console.
