Front License Plate excuses?? Options

For those of us who live in states that require a front plate:

Do you put it on?

If not have you been ticketed?

If you got out of your ticket how did you do it?

Colorado has really cracked down on this recently because of the use of photo radar. I carry mine in the car, and have had a verbal warning, but a co worker just got a 50 dollar ticket when her car was parked downtown boulder at a meter. Another friend got pulled over for not having one, and ticketed as well. I really hate the idea of putting mine on, just spoils the looks of the car, plus I just plugged the holes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) .

...Here in Nevada it is just a 'performance ticket'. If you get a citation you can go to the police station with a front plate properly attached and they will drop the charges.

maybe true in Clark County but Reno (Washoe County) was getting picky while i was there, heard of several SNR members who got tagged...

that's -one- good thing about PA - no front plates !

ran a front plate on the Subie, but it was bent just about parallel with the road surface and was more of an air deflector into the radiator area than anything. i don't think a pole-mounted camera could have made out numbers ...
