If one were to take an old 912 trans with attractive gearing, pull out the shafts, will these fit into a 914 box? I am still unsure of compatability of these two trans.

This is for the 2.7 track car. Seems I'm having a bit of trouble finding an already built side shift trans, so I figure I'll collect some gearsets in case I have to build one. Supposedly this box has a real high ring and pinon set also. Pat |
