If one were to take an old 912 trans with attractive gearing, pull out the shafts, will these fit into a 914 box? I am still unsure of compatability of these two trans.
Thanks! Pat |

Get the one in the best condition as parts are getting expensive. Sliders, dogteeth in good condition are a must in buying a "good" box or its just a core tranny.
Pull the gear cluster out if you are going to buy a box and look closely at it. If you need some tranny reading, read Redbeard's articles. |
