Ok, my long awaited cable shifter is done. It is on a 901 sideshift. My main motivation for doing it is to make upgrading to a 930 trans easier down the road. My cable friction issue was solved with a couple drops of oil on the seals that keep dirt out of the cables (boy do I feel silly).

Hehe, thanks guys. This took way too long to make to put into production.. It's also untested. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Tell ya what, I'll trade it for a rebuilt 930 trans with flipped R&P, with clutch and flywheel needed to fit it to an LT1. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol2.gif) |
