A few weeks ago I joined this bbs, and asked some questions about 914 alignment and suspension set up.

I finally was able to pick up the car today ( no blizzards etc)

a little about the ex 914-2.0

Engine:
3.2L
Webers
tall manifolds
1 3/4 dia headers
supertraps
WebCam 20-21's
msd ignition

Trans:
MSX gears
open diff (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Suspension:

Raised spindle RSR in front
Bilstien sport in rear
coil over all round
f/r sway bars
600# springs ( sounds way heavy for this car, I havent been able to verify this though)

Brakes:

from an '87 carerra ( I have turbo calipers soon to go on (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) )

I did a walk around with a smart camber

Front 2.0 neg

Rear 1.8 neg

I already think the car is over sprung, but until I know for sure what springs it has, and drive it a few laps , Ill leave things be for now

TimT,

Do you really think you can put 315's on 9's. That sounds like a bad idea to me. 10's or 11's sound more like 315 sizes.

Let me know if you try I'd like to see the results.

Nice Car!!
