My stock rear view mirror came off yesterday. It had previously been glued to the mounting base. There is a small silver plate which the mirror has a mounting screw to attach the mirror to the base. The small silver base came out of the mount. Is epoxy glue, which is what I believe was used, the only method of attachement?
What has been found to be a reliable attachement method?
Thanks,
Larry

I tried gasket adhesive and it worked better then silicon. If you can find black gasket sealer that would work well.

I ordered a 928 mirror should be here in a couple of days. Hope it works better then the 3 mirros I have tried already (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
