Guys,
I have a 1973 2.0 that has too much rust to restore. It has a good motor with a cam and carbs. I have an extra windshield, brake repair stuff, tranny bushings, etc. All the panels are pretty good except for the drivers rear quarter panel. It has fuchs, etc. I refuse to sell this car to someone under the false pretense that it is a fixer upper. This is a parts car with extra great parts. So, should I cut it up with a saw and cart off the carcass, or sell it as a parts car? My theory is, bail out now and find a complete, straight car. Hell, maybe it is time to get a boxster. |

Grasshopper,
you will end up like MikeZ (very few actually liking you..LOL) if you dont stop stabbing these people with lowball offers. Just stop and think about it. Who on this planet (that has a clue about 914's) would sell you a 2.0 with carbs for $500? I like the fact that you land smokin deals.. but at least be fair in your offers. B |
