ok, so ill run the car until its nice and hot, operating temp, and when i shut the car off, it smells like oil...kind of. theres no oil leaking anywhere, however, and the dipstick is showing the same thing every time.

could it just be the heat? theres no smoke. just curious if its only heat smell. any ideas?

thanks

Mine dosen't smell like burnt oil just for the heck of it, have you checked on top of

the H/E 's two see if your valve covers or push rod tubes are leaking? Just a drop

or two will make it smell.

Come to think of it a small leak from the tailend of the trany can end up on your muffler

and can smell up the joint.
