"The body is in terrific shape and while the car does have a few areas where a rust bubble has developed here or there the car is FAR from a rust bucket (see pictures)." I guess the passenger side door is just out of alignment? LOL. other great one liners... "Seize the opportunity to own an appreciating classic for a fraction of the price of a Saturn." "For the price of a high end bicycle you can have an appreciating classic that you can take the top off of and enjoy during the nice weather." "The car was originally a bright green color however someone recognized the car is more attractive in silver any day of the week." "When you open the trunk and hood the car is solid and looks good." "You will undoubtably enjoy driving around in your investment especially on a warm spring night. " unbelievable ad! I love it. makes me want to buy! geeez, someone's getting a steal for $2k. Judging only by the ebay pics and stuff, I'm actually
going to disagree with most of you here that are dismissing this as a probable rust bucket. That pic of the right door is clearly showing that it is opened, but since the owner is not too bright, it could be that he is so intent on showing this rust bubble he doesn't think of it. I can't tell from the pic if it is sagging at all, which it would while opened on a rust bucket. In any case, this is something that even the most boneheaded new buyer would see if the door can't be closed. Mark S. '70 914-6 |
