Help! I've got a '74 2.0 with FI that has an electrical problem I can't figure out. The "blue" 25-amp fuse on the relay board keeps going out. I disconnected the fuel pump and checked it, it runs fine.
The car blows the fuse after 20- 30 minutes, shorter in "warmer" weather, a bit longer in cooler weather. Anyone out there have any ideas? Thanks |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) The auxiliary air regulator is powered off the same circuit. Check the wiring and valve.
QUOTE although it could be hard to start from cold power closes the valve ....it should start the same but may idle low/stall when cold if the valve is stuck closed..... if it's stuck open or has a bad heater you'll have high idle when warm (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welcome.png) |
