I have am using a turbo axle and found is has "coarse" 29 spline while the 944 axle has more (didn't count yet). In my application I need to use the 944 CV to mate with the Boxster transaxle and the Turbo axle for the shorter length on one side.
1) Are both ends of the axle and CV identical of 911 and 930? 2) What's the different spline counts of 911 and 930? |

My axle combination is for a Boxster 5 speed transaxle and 911 stub axle. I have 911 and 930 axles because of unequal lengths. If you see a Boxster transaxle you will see why. This has been done by ajracer but not exactly documented. I have the correct axle but need the 944 CV on it to mount to the Boxster output flange. There's not much dimensional data on CV sizes and spline #'s...
