Does anyone know any good sites for ID'ing Porsche engines? I have a line on a 2.4 that might have a 7R case. But, I know jack about ID'ing said case.

Do you have access to pics?
Pretty simple: It's embossed on the case by the oil return tubes. Only later 2.4's were (I believe) most were 5R's. Get a picture of both sides of the case because some were "mixed" from the factory. |
