Can't find anything on google so I'm asking youz guyz. Is there a rebuild kit for the Unilite? I have one that was part of a VW parts purchase, looks a little rough but definitely rebuildable for a D.D. or toy. My biggest issue is the wiring was cut just outside of the housing. I could solder on some new pieces but is there any point? Could the trigger be damaged by the heat generated with the soldering iron?

Go online to Mr Gasket.com, click on the Mallory icon and ask Mallory. I did this with a Jacobs Ignition and they handled it fairly well. Just slow. I hear the Mallory has lots of optical problems due to heat.

I just checked it out and they're closed until the 2nd, so I won't know until next week. I'll post the response here for anyone who may be interested. I saw a lot of "tune up" kits but nothing I would consider a rebuild kit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Time will tell....tick.. tock.. tick.. tock..previously on 24 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) |
