Can't find anything on google so I'm asking youz guyz. Is there a rebuild kit for the Unilite? I have one that was part of a VW parts purchase, looks a little rough but definitely rebuildable for a D.D. or toy. My biggest issue is the wiring was cut just outside of the housing. I could solder on some new pieces but is there any point? Could the trigger be damaged by the heat generated with the soldering iron?

Scotty,
When you talk to them ask if there is a heat problem with the dizzy, and is there a prevention. Be nice to know how they answer that. I'm about to buy a MSD because the guy building my engine says he replaces Unilites with MSD all the time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/brain.gif) Something to do with heat I think. I had a Unilite I bought from ACT all curved and such but I sold it when I knew I wasn't gunna do carbs. Come to find out latter it can be used with aftermarket FI. This big block race engine builder is doing my engine probono. Kinda (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Its as scary as it is fun. This guy is studying my engine and seems to know what to do.
