Can't find anything on google so I'm asking youz guyz. Is there a rebuild kit for the Unilite? I have one that was part of a VW parts purchase, looks a little rough but definitely rebuildable for a D.D. or toy. My biggest issue is the wiring was cut just outside of the housing. I could solder on some new pieces but is there any point? Could the trigger be damaged by the heat generated with the soldering iron?

it's a very basic circuit, about $5 in parts....I've opened up my fried part and just need to figure out what went "poof", should be easy to figure out once I get a-round-tuit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I know Jake loves the Mallory and I think he has mentioned the only failures he has had was due to voltage spikes....Mallory sells a $30 or so device to protect from such things (I have one installed on mine, but it won;t prevent hooking up the + and - incorrectly (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) )

i accidently lost the POS batt terminal mid drive... so the current coming out of the alternator didnt go into the battery... it went into all the wires that were hooked up to that terminal..... gee... into the dizzy

(yes mine is wired differently do to a CDI box based ignition.)
