Anybody got any recomendations on auto shipping company's they have used and were happy with? Need to get a car from CA to CO. Just looking for good service, and affordable. Also what whould be the ideal method of chaining the car down for transport, so I can make sure nobody screws up? I was quoted 575, most places, and it seems to be a broker business. Encolsed I think would be too much. TIA

which six did you get?

I wouldn't go with A plus shippers (or something like that). I used them before and it took forever to get the car. never knew what was going on and neither did they. it just appeared one day.

enclosed will be very expensive.

I just got a quote of $1k to ship my land rover from SF to philly. these people seem reliable and upfront (but haven't used them yet).

email ellie at Allstarmove3@aol.com and see what she quotes you. not sure where your car is and if they service that area, but worth a shot.
