If I use a metric/AN adapter like this on my tank

Great, thanks for the reply -I couldn't find an internal diagram of the hose end anywhere to see if it had a machined 37* internal to fit the adapter.
Of course the tank fitting needs a female metric fitting -the one shown is the scavenge case adapter M22 to -12 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
