i noticed that a wire going to the coil sends a signal to the light - is this correct or could this be my problem causing the flickering?? if i disconnect this wire the light goes out. jim

Oil pressure light does not attach to the coil. It goes to a wire that will come out of the harness near the center of the case on the passenger side
