i noticed that a wire going to the coil sends a signal to the light - is this correct or could this be my problem causing the flickering?? if i disconnect this wire the light goes out. jim

It should be a green and red, I think, wire (old wire= red may look brown) it

should connect to the oil preasure switch. You will find it behind the dizzy (torwards

rear of car) thru a hole in the sheet metal, only a few inches from your dizzy

IIRC.
