I was surfing and ran across this link.
http://encycl.opentopia.com/term/Porsche_114 Reading, I am thinking is this the 1st ever Porsche car built personally by Porsche. Get this. Mid engine but water cooled. Wonder where the working drawings or prints are. |

Read more carefully. The 114 was never built. Just a concept and drawings. But as Rich said, the first 356 (known as No. 1) was mid-engined. But changed to rear engine for production.

Sorry to point out to anyone but what I typed, was in fact a question. Typed earlier by me. "Reading, I am thinking, is this the 1st ever Porsche car built personally by Porsche"? Maybe I should have said the 1st to be DESIGNED to be a Porsche. Some of you guys sure are getting to be a bunch of nit pickers.
