I was surfing and ran across this link.
http://encycl.opentopia.com/term/Porsche_114 Reading, I am thinking is this the 1st ever Porsche car built personally by Porsche. Get this. Mid engine but water cooled. Wonder where the working drawings or prints are. |

the 1.5L mentioned above was actually build, but as a 12 Cylinder Boxer motor that was used in a 1949 race-car build by Porsche for the italian Piero Dusio.
the car was called "Cisitalia", after Dusio's company. 1.5L, 12 Cylinder boxer, watercooled. 450 HP @ 10,500 rpm and here's a look at what's under the hood: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif) Andy |
