I found these welding tips on the web. There is some great advice here on creating lap joints and "spot" welds. I am still practicing, but I found this advice to be right on...

I think that the best thing that ever happened to my welding skills was learning how to work with a dodgy Aceteline regulator, keeping a close eye on what's going on with the flame as the gas pressure popped up and down. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/boldblue.gif)
Funny thing is, going out and buying a new one would cost me more than what the whole setup cost me about 10 years ago when I bought it. |
