After the Autocross this past saturday I was merging onto the 91 West and hit a friggin deep pothole on the passenger's side. What happened? I guess it shook violently enough to bust two bolts fron my front swaybar mount on the body. Holy crap! That would explain the thunk I hear every time I hit a bump.
This was after dropping the front end about ½" and moving the droplinks inward about 1½" inward on stiffness. The car handled great until this happened! |

'cause it looks like the motor shifted forward some. The Cap'n to my untrained eye, it sure looks like the motor & tranny moved backwards, not forward ... but what do i know? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Andy Silly! Forwards toward the back bumper! Don't you nerds know anything! The Cap'n Actually, the engine and tranny stayed where they were The car went forwards That's what you get when you try and drive a Teener (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) |
