After the Autocross this past saturday I was merging onto the 91 West and hit a friggin deep pothole on the passenger's side. What happened? I guess it shook violently enough to bust two bolts fron my front swaybar mount on the body. Holy crap! That would explain the thunk I hear every time I hit a bump.
This was after dropping the front end about ½" and moving the droplinks inward about 1½" inward on stiffness. The car handled great until this happened! |

Brando,
How about a set of semi solid nylon late style engine mounts from JWest Engineering? Or take Joe Ricards do-it-yourself suggestion and cut and stack some discs from a nylon-plastic cutting board? Just rambling here... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |
