while reading up on d-jet operation i've realized there may be things still to do and locate for my 2.0 conversion. feel free to input
the computor in 73, it is used on the 1.7 or 2.0 so i'm good there. i have: 1 m.p.s. (is getting programmed/set) 2 1973 2.0 f.i. engine wire harness (purchased) 3 2.0 intake manifolds/plenum/switches/sensors and green injectors (purchased) i need: 1 1973 2.0 head temperature sensor (0 280 130 017) and ballest resister. (i may have the resister) missing anything?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) thanks, mike |

How about the engine tins? The top ones are different between 1.7 7 2.0 due to spark plug locations. The rest are pretty much the same if I recalled correctly, however, for sure, the top tins are different.
Engine wire harness will be different but it's do-able to re-route or extend some ends to reach specific location. Rest should be same. Brain (ecu), mps, fuel injectors are different and I understand you'll have the mps programed? how? it's mechanical and if its getting caliberated by an mps expert, then I guess it's do-able. I do know they're different as I'm doing the same job in what you're doing but haven't build the engine yet... j |
