A co-worker is going to San Diego on business and will be staying in the Hampton Inn downtown. She is curious as to how safe (day AND night) a walk to the Gaslamp Quarter is. She will be traveling alone and wondered if she'd need to rent a car for safety. Are trollies or cabs readily available?
